Welcome to Day 20 of our Saskatchewan 2024 Campaign Roundup!

With the 2024 SK election underway, we'll be bringing you daily updates on all the policy proclamations, platform promises, and political point-scoring from the campaign trail.

As always, our work is entirely funded by donations from Saskatchewanians just like you, so if you appreciate the updates, please consider making a one-off donation or signing up as a supporter for just $10 a month - that's just 36 cents per email!

Campaign Roundup - Day 20:

  • Scott Moe, Leader of the Saskatchewan Party, said that, under his government, a new job is being created every 30 minutes for a Saskatchewan person, in Saskatchewan. But, he said that, when the NDP was in power, people had to move to Alberta to get jobs.

  • Carla Beck, Leader of the Saskatchewan NDP, announced that her party would build a new school in Buffalo Narrows.

  • Beck visited La Ronge to talk about her plans for the province’s north. She spoke about improving wildfire management, and said that pausing the gas tax and increasing school funding will benefit the entire province.

  • Both the Saskatchewan Party and the Saskatchewan NDP reminded voters that there are only two days left until voting begins.

  • Saskatchewan Party candidate Jeremy Cockrill and Saskatchewan NDP candidate Tom Kroczynski debated education, healthcare, affordable housing, and public safety at a town hall hosted by the Battlefords and District Chamber of Commerce.

  • The Buffalo Party of Saskatchewan shared a video suggesting that they would continue supporting coal as an energy source, as well as the jobs that come with the coal industry.
