Campaign Roundup - Day 13:
- The Saskatchewan Party said that their platform is not only fully costed, but also responsible and achievable. The party took issue with the Saskatchewan NDP calling their platform promises “trinkets.”
- Scott Moe, Leader of the Saskatchewan Party, urged people not to be fooled by the Saskatchewan NDP’s campaign promises, calling their record one of “decline, loss, and closures”. He claimed they would raise taxes or cancel projects.
- Carla Beck, Leader of the Saskatchewan NDP, delivered a speech to her volunteers. She thanked them for their time and said their hard work is paying off.
- The Saskatchewan NDP posted some talking points for around the Thanksgiving table, to encourage family and friends to vote for the NDP.
- The Agricultural Producers Association of Saskatchewan published their key policy priorities for the provincial election. These priorities focus on improving farm programs, enhancing business competitiveness, and advancing infrastructure development.
- The list of candidates is now final. There are 243 candidates running in the election, up from 236 candidates in 2020, but down from the record 268 candidates in 2016. The Saskatchewan Party and the Saskatchewan NDP each have full slates of 61 candidates, while the Saskatchewan Green Party is running 58 candidates. The Saskatchewan United Party has 31 candidates, and the Buffalo Party of Saskatchewan has 16.
